WRITERS' CIRCLE ANNUAL OPEN POETRY COMPETITION
RULES
 |
The
closing date is 16th February 2010. |
 |
Entries
must be the poet's own unpublished work. |
 |
They should
not be on offer for publication nor entered in any other current
competition. |
 |
The maximum
length of each poem is 40 lines. |
 |
Each poem
with its title must be in clear type on one side of A4 sheet(s). Details of
the poet must not appear on this sheet. |
 |
The name
and address of the poet and the titles of all submitted poems must be typed
on a separate sheet of A4 paper. Please give an email address where
possible. |
 |
Prize
winners will be notified by post - SAE welcome. |
 |
Entries are
only accepted by mail. Poems will not be returned. |
 |
The entry
fee is £3 per poem. |
 |
The
adjudicator's word is final. |
NOTES

All entries will be
considered by our adjudicator. |
 |
All submissions will be
considered for the Open Category.

 |
70 poems will be chosen for
the Anthology. |
 |
A poem may not win more
than one prize. |
 |
The names of poets who
poems are selected for the Anthology will be published on this website. |
