NORWICH WRITERS' CIRCLE ANNUAL OPEN POETRY COMPETITION

RULES

The closing date is 16th February 2010.

Entries must be the poet's own unpublished work.

bullet

They should not be on offer for publication nor entered in any other current competition.

bullet

The maximum length of each poem is 40 lines.

bullet

Each poem with its title must be in clear type on one side of A4 sheet(s). Details of the poet must not appear on this sheet.

bullet

The name and address of the poet and the titles of all submitted poems must be typed on a separate sheet of A4 paper.  Please give an email address where possible.

Prize winners will be notified by post  - SAE welcome.

bullet

Entries are only accepted by mail. Poems will not be returned.

bullet

The entry fee is £3 per poem.

bullet

The adjudicator's word is final.

All entries will be considered by our adjudicator.

bullet

All submissions will be considered for the Open Category.

bullet

70 poems will be chosen for the Anthology.

bullet

A poem may not win more than one prize.

bullet

The names of poets who poems are selected for the Anthology will be published on this website.
